I always used to buy scrubs for my face, lips, and body from the shop. I had to pay a handsome amount of money for a shower or butter body scrub. And facial scrub is a little more costly. Someone took me around $40 for a single container or tube. Furthermore, the scrubs might contain chemical or artificial elements.

Fortunately, one of my friends said about the honey and sugar scrub to use for my face. She said it works nicely. She also told that you can try it. And so, I could not but deny her request.

And really this homemade brown sugar and honey face scrub is far better, cost cutter and contains a delicious smell. Don’t worry if some bit gets into your mouth. Ahhhh! Yummy delicious. It does not irritate your face like the commercial scrubs. It exfoliates the dead skin cells softly.

This scrub is all natural, toxic and cruelty-free. Brown sugar has a nice smell, and it is a wonderful skin exfoliator. It removes the dead cells from my face perfectly. Honey means raw honey. Raw honey is a natural humectant, antifungal, antiviral, anti-bacterial and heals acne. It keeps the skin soft, supple and smooth drawing the moisturizer.

And yes there are no really better exfoliants than the natural brown sugar. It does not tear at the skin like other exfoliants and tastes delicious.

To make brown sugar and honey face scrub is easy. Not only I like this scrub, but also it is very popular with many women. You can replace your brown sugar to the refined white sugar if you don’t have brown sugar. Make as amount as you need. You can store it for several days in the normal temperature of your refrigerator. I do this also.

You can apply this exfoliant on your lips, body, neck or foot. I sometimes use it to scrub my lips. See how to exfoliate lips with home remedies.

Anyway, now let’s see –

How to Make Brown Sugar and Honey Face Scrub at Home

Ingredients You Need:

How to Make:

Put all the ingredients in a small bowl. Mix them well. Then store the mixture in a tube, jar or scrub container with an air tight lid. You can add less or more honey, oils or sugar to make the scrub thinner or thicker or less thin or less thick. Maintain the consistency as you want. Keep it at the room temperature or in the normal level of the refrigerator. You can use it for a few days.

How to Scrub Your Face

First, wash your face. Place some scrub on the wet face. Massage the skin with your fingers gently for 2 minutes in the circular motion. Then rinse off the face with warm water, pat dry and apply a moisturizing cream to get the flawless smooth skin. Avoid the skin around your eyes.

Exfoliate your face just two times a week. It will keep your skin dull-free and younger. The better skin you will have if you scrub your face or body throughout the year.  But, the winter demands more care for the skin including the facial scrub.

The ingredients in the jar can be separate as you have not used any preservatives. So, before using just mix the ingredients again or shake the bottle well.

And this is the way how you can make the brown sugar and honey face scrub. I like this scrub for my face, body, and lips. Of course, different women like different elements to prepare their scrub recipes. You can try this honey and sugar exfoliant. And let me know how you feel.

But doing this is not easy for working women, that is why i always prefer herbal products.
